I'm a big Maureen Johnson fan, but this one didn't do it for me. It was kind of dull, and lacked the originality that her more recent books have. This one just felt really long and whiney. I didn't like it so much, but I love her other books.
Unfortunately, I lost the rhythm with this story. I was so close to the end before Christmas, but I left it at home and took New Moon on the ferry instead. Still, it was a good coming to terms with grief story and I would like to read more of her books.
