Maureen Vincent-Northam has had work published in local newspapers, international magazines and on the Web. She's written regularly for markets aimed at writers, both in print and online, and has judged online writing contests.She's the author of Trace your Roots (Greatest Guides) and co-author of The Writer's ABC Checklist (Accent Press).Winner of The Writers' Advice Centre for Children's Books 2008 competition with her book aimed at 5-8 year-olds, her short stories have been included in the anthologies: 100 Stories for Haiti, 50 Stories for Pakistan, Shambelurkling & Other Stories, Yesterday, and 100 Stories for Queensland. Her children's book, Black Dog's Treasure, is available on Kindle.As a freelance copy editor she's worked on several anthologies and many novels.
