"Tessa doesn't believe in magic. Or Fate. But there's something weird about the dusty unicorn tapestry she discovers in a box of old books. She finds the creature woven within it compelling and frightening. After the tapestry comes into her possession, Tessa experiences dreams of the past and scen...
Okay. That was good. And creepy. And fun. And well-written.And creepy. And a fast read.It was not perfect, but still really, really enjoyable and engrossing.
My Rating: 4.5 I was first interested in Revel because of the cover. It looked so blue and mythical, if that's even a word that can be used to describe a book cover. I just knew I had to read Revel as soon as I saw it, but I wasn't really expecting much because I have never heard of the author, Maur...
Revel is imaginative and original -- imagine 50% Greek mythology, 10% the TV show LOST, 20% paranormal romance, 10% The Bachelor, and 10% Loch Ness monster story. It's an interesting mix and I could never predict what was going to happen.
Not at all what I expected and I thought it was a good story. Some things made me roll my eyes, but for the most part, it was solid. I really enjoyed Tessa and Will's story and look forward to it continuing, if there will be a sequel.

I didn’t pay as much attention to the writing because I was too busy reading as fast as I could so I could find out what happens next. I liked the fact that for once the best friend is in o...

Tessa pulls a loose thread on a tapestry the her father bought at auction and a young man who had been trapped for 500 years appears in her room. The thread of his life was stolen by a witch and woven into the tapestry. The witch wants the tapestry and him back. The Fates also want all the stolen th...
