I have to say that Jamie is my favorite character in the series. Mostly, because she is the everywoman who just happens to be able to talk to ghosts. She is not stupid, though she think she is, but she is the most normal of the women in the series. She also is a modern woman who is in a relationship...

I picked this novella as a way of getting back into the "Women Of Otherworld" series. I read the first half a dozen novels in the series very close together and then got distracted. "Counterfeit Magic" is a fun story with murders, supernatural fight clubs, family intrigue and some quite witty dial...

Lovely, shorter piece set in the Otherworld universe. The first book I've read by Kelley Armstrong, it stands alone quite well. I suspect fans of her work, and this world, will like the mentions of Elena, and the larger Otherworld universe, although it's hard to tell having not read them myself. ...

I spent a large chunk of this novella thinking "this story is only a shorter version of NO HUMANS INVOLVED just with different ghosts." And, I stayed on that thought train up until the final pages when Armstrong reveals that no— in fact, this story is not at all what it seems. The plot is delightful...

I love this series. I hadn't realized that there were several novellas published, so now I have one more novella and then the final book in the series to read...this really got to the heart of why I love Armstrong's books - the characters and relationships ring true, and the main characters are wond...

This novella is narrated by Paige, who was the narrator of Dime Store Magic and Industrial Magic, books 3 and 4 of the Women of the Otherworld series. Paige doesn't seem to be the most popular narrator of the series but I have always liked her so it was good to get back inside her head so to speak. ...

I'm kind of glad that Armstrong appears to be continuing this series, even if it is only novellas.

3.5 stars. This book is told from Jaime's POV. She is by no means my favorite narrator. Her stories always seem the same to me. Not bad, but nothing spectacular either. Good news, Jeremy is in this book.

I'm glad I waited to read this one. I was nice going back to this world. Missed it. It was awesome to have a Paige/Lucas story. My only complaint/issue- the ending felt a little rushed, but well paced before that.

This novella features Paige, Lucas and Savannah and a case at their investigations agency. A half-demon comes to hire them to investigate her brothers' death at a supernatural fight club. She also makes a major play for Lucas. While Lucas goes off with her to investigate one end of the case, Paige a...
