This is a nice (quite long) retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The illustrations are really just about perfect. I find that illustrators really have a hard time getting the beast right - either too cute and cuddly or too monstrous. Barrett strikes the perfect balance here. I'd say, so far, this i...
