Continuing my streak of books with potential, but REALLY need a good content editor or better beta-readers first.
2 1/2 stars Good conflict and premise. Characters held potential and still leave room for the series to come up. Wasted opportunities due to poor execution of plot sequence and exposition. Investment in more development of characters and backstory, plus good beta readers would help.
