Former soldier Octavio “Tavio” Reyes works as a barista, a favorite with the customers—especially Tommy O’Shaughnessy. An avowed geek, Tommy comes in daily to flirt, usually under the guise of Trekkie talk. Tavio hesitates; now that he's out of the army, he’s not sure how out he should be, or whethe...

There was a little too much back story and character development needed for a short. It feels more like an intro to a complete story rather than the story. It's hopeful and sweet though, and I enjoyed the glimpse into their lives. I'd like to see more.

This is really hard for me to rate!I'm a sucker, not only for unusual characters, also for the quiet ones. And Tavio is.... extremely quiet! So it fits well that this story is told in his POV! Otherwise we wouldn't know his mind in any kind of way.It was a very slow burning story and the only 'actio...

Not my cuppa coffee.I was bored. I didn't connect with the MCs. I didn't see the point.

*** 3.5 Stars *** I have to admit that I'm kind of astonished by the low ratings that this story has received. Personally, I totally dug Medium, Sweet, Extra Shot of Geek. It was all about the banter and the flirting and the anticipation of a new relationship, and I thought that it was really well d...

This shortie was just adorable. It had a bit more depth than I expected, and was more a few days in the life of a couple of guys who liked each other and struggled with how to show it than a full fledged fall into love, but I liked it a lot. Tavio was in the military, and you get the impression he ...

This was so not medium sweet, nope this was extra sweet. I loved it, it melted my heart, maybe more than normal because of the timing. I read it on Remembrance Day very fitting in my eyes since both of the MC's were veterans. It was a short, extra sweet, heart warming read for any cold winter's day.

After returning from his third tour in the army, Tavio Reyes has been placed in a job as a barista, a welcome respite from the traumas of his past. For a whole year, the gorgeous, athletic super-geek Tommy O’Shaughnessy has been focusing his attentions on Tavio, force-feeding him comic book referenc...

2.5-3 stars. I really enjoyed this, but...nothing really happened! It had such potential, but I felt like it fell short of the mark. I liked the characters but the daughter wasn't really needed. I would of rather have read more of Tavio & Tommy actually being together besides the coffee shop. So, cut...

This was an odd little read. I really enjoyed the style though but I think that's because it reminded me a lot of some of the copious amounts of Sterek coffee shop AU Teen Wolf fanfics I've read. Tommy was very Stiles to me and Tavio very Derek. It lost me when Kaylee was introduced and we didn't ge...
