Stands on its own as a sequel, though ending fell a little flat. Pleased with her choice of lover, though disappointed more didn't come out of the other option. Fred seems to mature in this book, which is good. And, as always, laughs aplenty. What will the third book hold?
This was another great Fred the Mermaid novel. I really love her brashness. In this adventure, Fred gets to find out more about Undersea Folk heritage. Fred is scarky, sarcastic, and hilarious! Enjoyed very much. Attitude is very similar to Betsy. I wish MJD had written more Fred books.
Nothing major happens in this book. A lot of bitching, a lot of yo-yoing about the same issues and nothing else. I was very disappointed.
