I don't know if I'm going to bother with a real review because I'm feeling lazy and don't have a lot to say and I'm just posting this because I HATE with all of my dark passion the fact that Goodreads keeps telling me that I'm 2 books behind on my reading challenge. I know, I know, already! I am rea...

I'm on a bit of a mystery kick these days. I've got a few rather "heavy" books I'm working on, but I'm not always in the right headspace or environment to be completely engrossed in a book. When that's the case, I go to my comfort food: mysteries and espionage for a read that I know I'll finish easi...

Had I known this book was written backwards I would have never read it. It's a gimmick to cover up a story that has no surprises if written in a traditional way. This ploy failed to cover up the transparent ending for me. I thought it a waste of time. Only my self-enforced pledge to finish what I...

I received this book via NetGalley to give an honest review. So the suspense of this book kept me on my toes I really wanted to know if Leah would uncover the truth about her roommate. She did but the ending I felt lacked the wow factor in it all. Maybe the author wanted to play it safe, but I wante...

I thought this book was quite good. I was confused towards the ending though and I didn't quite like how it moved back in time; present day back to day 15 than back to present day. It was very good overall though.

I loved "All the Missing Girls" and could not wait to reading this book. It has been sitting on my TBR pile since the beginning of the year. And, like her other book, this one did not fail to disappoint. This one had me going crazy. I was starting to wonder if there was an Emmy or not. I read the pa...

Megan Miranda's debut novel, All the Missing Girls, was a smash hit last year and put her name on the map. Seriously, is there anyone who book blogs and isn't aware of this woman? I'd think not. I somehow never got around to reading that book, though I do have it on my shelf. Instead, my first Mir...

This book was terrible. Besides a gimmick of telling the main story backwards (which I swear I have seen before in books like "The Secret History") there was nothing appealing about this book. The main character was terrible, her family was terrible, and there was no development at all with secondar...

A follow-up to Fracture, told from Decker's point of view. People are dying, it's like the town is cursed and Delaney is trying to come to terms with what she knows. Life has to go on, a new school year is starting and life has to go on, but as people keep dying, the question of what's going on has...
