I'm interested in all aspects of philosophy, religion and ethics, but particularly in how we relate beliefs and lifestyles to a rational, scientific and emotionally satisfying view of life. I'm a frustrated religious atheist, with Buddhist inclinations and a love of traditional Christian culture in literature, art, music and architecture. I also enjoy photographing the lived environment and landscape.Formerly a teacher, textbook publisher with Hodder & Stoughton, lecturer and A-level examiner, I now work as a freelance writer, specialising in Philosophy and Ethics both for the general reader and for students at AS and A2 level.
