I could not finish this. I enjoyed the story about Sitting Bull and Annie Oakley but the rest of it was just dull, dull, dull. I know the stories were supposed to be arty and interesting and edgy but I was just bored. I've been reading the book one story a day but I simply can't bear to go on.
I was really looking forward to this book of short stories. Unfortunately, the writing style was something I just could not connect to. I found it disjointed and almost trying too hard to be different. The author can write, there is no doubt about that, I just sometimes feel that simpler is better. ...
