I think what I like from (most) of D.J. Manly's stories is his/her characters are usually adorable. Also, I am also glad that I don't remember anything about the first book so I don't have to compare it. I enjoy this one because I think the sensual attraction between the two guys are so thick -- and...
Melting Ice and Melting Ice 2 are so-so unrelated m/m romantic suspenses about deeply closeted law enforcement agents who "thaw" under the attention of the wrong guys. By the end of each book, I wanted to slap characters.
