It was good, right up until it all seemed to get wrapped up too quickly and conveniently. I was left feeling like "that's it?".

OK, OK, I let myself be tempted by the two bikes on the cover...A personal observation. Where I live, a notorious biker earns millions and goes out with actresses, while the only thing biker gangs do regularly is going to some mountain pass to eat focaccia with bologna. What a strange world! :-...
Solid, mindless,sex-filled entertainment. Nice, if somewhat far-fetched pairing of a gay biker gang boss who looked like a vampire king (I couldn't help feeling reminded of JR Ward's Wrath from BDB) and a virginal closeted cop who can take it with the best of them and still fight back. Lots of actio...
First book from DJ Manly. I enjoyed this book. It was a short and hot. I liked Ice. I knew something was up with him. For Brian not to figure it out? What kind of an ace cop is he? The story glossed over a few situation, but overall, I enjoyed it. The writing style was clean and the characte...
This could have been so good. First it was too short. There was so much that was rushed, so many good ideas were left dangling it was disturbing. D. J. Manly kept giving us a glimpse of a character and then just dropping the thread and moving on. What was the bad guy's motivation? What was up with C...
I really enjoyed this book, I was a little disappointed when I looked up Melting Ice 2 and seen it wasn't about Van and Brian. But will of course read #2.
Melting Ice and Melting Ice 2 are so-so unrelated m/m romantic suspenses about deeply closeted law enforcement agents who "thaw" under the attention of the wrong guys. By the end of each book, I wanted to slap characters.
3.5 starsHmmm, a closeted young cop taken as a hostage by sexy gay biker gang leader? Can I say HOT? *grin* I enjoy the story. I enjoy the banter between Brian and Estevan "Ice" Dias. While the last part is a bit too sweet compared to the whole sense of the story but overall, I like it.
2.75 Liked the premise, but it just didn't quite work for me. The relationship between the two main characters seemed forced. I don't see Fuller falling in love so quickly, nor do I believe forgiveness would be that quick.
