Lovely to revisit this classic on audio. A few quibbles with the narration (misreadings, mispronunciations) but nothing that detracted mightily. Cowgirls is one of those novels that is immensely enjoyable to read, but on reflection afterward it is hard to put your finger (or giant thumb) on what was so great about it. I will not attempt to describe it, but I did read the whole thing with a smile on my face, and that is rare.
I'm 2/3 of the way through and feel like I need to persevere, but, man, this one is really getting on my nerves...
