If you choose an action, you choose the consequences of this action. ... and this novel is ripe with consequences. First of all, Miles's cryorevival comes with a seizure-condition that rears its ugly head in the most inconvenient moment - moreover, Miles then lies about it in his mission report,...

So great. Miles is in his 30s! I can't believe it. His world kind of explodes around him and then he finally finds his groove, not the dance but his niche rather. A romance ends, but this one you felt wouldn't last - two different paths. Great series. *****

Variety is the spice of life, so I’ve decided to diversify and pursue six different lists simultaneously. This book falls into my GIFTS AND GUILTY list.Regardless of how many books are alr...

Memory is a dedication to Bujold's determination to not let every book of her signature series all be in the same genre... even when they are all science-fiction, and largely follow the life of one single character. There's almost no actual action or adventure in Memory, and while the plot could def...

Miles turns thirty and thirty hits back ... hard. This will be a short sweet review lacking in many details because nearly everything and anything I say will be a spoiler. Miles walks through some of his deepest, desperate valleys and climbs to new heights of integrity, honor and satisfaction. I ...

This one made me laugh out loud at several points. = )Read mostly on two long car rides, so my DH was wondering what I was laughing about. But you've got to know the character of Miles to really 'get it', I think. (If I get a chance, I'll try to come back and add them in here.)This was a novel follo...
