Created a bookclub for Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock series at http://booklikes.com/groups/show/987/series-jane-yellowrock if anyone is interested. Not trying to assign a "monthly" read schedule to each book because everyone is at such different places in the series. Joining will collect member ...

Mercy Blade - Faith Hunter Man, this one had a lot of twists and turns but then it all made sense in the end. Poor Jane. I really had a hard time with this one because she got so beat up. And her Ricky bo also took some hits. I don't know what happens for them in the future, but they didn't ...
Unfortunately this series still fails to engage me. Similar to the previous instalment in the series this book is okay to read but only just.As the book blurb states, the werewolves as well as a bunch of other weres have decided to come out of the closet and announce their presence to the mundane wo...
This was a really nice read. I still don't like Rick, George and Leo. But maybe Gee can help alter the image I have of Leo. The plot was great. The ending though - I don't know how I feel about that. I think the love interest(s) in this series are severely lacking.
I really enjoy the Jane Yellowrock series. So far each book has been better than the previous one and Jane's world continues along with herself to grow and evolve. Lots of important stuff happens in this book. Several new supernatural creatures come out of the closet (so to speak) and Jane finds her...

Jane seems to be a punching bag in this story. Jane Yellowrock still works for Leo on retainer. Life is going well with her new boyfriend, Rick. Rick is the human cop she chose over Leo and Bruiser (George). She chose Rick because she doesn't want to share her boy with anyone else. She's not in...
I had a lot of trouble getting into this book -- too much going on that didn't connect or make sense. It all came together in the end with an amazing fight scene but still I almost gave up on it twice. Definitely my least favorite book so far.
