Meri Elena is an author who writes at the place where horror, sci-fi, and fantasy converge. In the physical world she resides with two pathologically lazy cats, a trio of chickens, and the little fairy people in the air vents (as observed by Crazy Cat #2). She is fond of B-rated horror movies, outdated music, crazy science experiments, translating Latin, and reading just about everything. She is not particularly technologically adept and apologizes if her profile page is less than stellar.Meri's first short story, "Anew," is a creepy tale of insidious goop, published in summer of 2012. She published an e-book short story collection, These Four Walls, on October 30, 2013. The first book of her Brunswick Prophecies Series, Nightfall, is available for purchase, and the sequel is in the pipeline, so to speak.
