Meriah L. Crawford has been a private investigator since 2003, working on a wide array of cases including background investigations, accident and theft cases, patent infringement, counterfeiting, harassment, and even a murder. About the only thing she hasn't investigated is marital infidelity. About eight years ago, after she finished her MFA in creative writing, Meriah began teaching part-time, and became a full-time assistant professor at Virginia Commonwealth University in August of 2010.
