Re-read February 7 2017------------------Let me start with the most important thing about this book: It has a 25 pages long sex scene!!! That was some hot sex! :D--- This review is filled with spoilers. Read at your own risk---This is one great read! I never expected to like this as much as I did. I...

Another lost little review that is part my GR Cleanup Project. I listened to this story on audio and the narrator was just not suited for this material. It's about drug cartels and tough guys and he's dry, soft-spoken, a bit monotonous, speaks with lots of pauses and "reads" too much of the story...

I'm not really sure why I waited so long to read this, it was really good. It did feel a bit like two completely different books though, as part one was told from Gabriel's POV, and part two from Antonio's. I wish it had either been told from alternating POVs from the start, or that they POVs had be...

I went in for the hotness and the danger and got more than what I had bargained for. But sometimes less is more. I could have done well enough without reading about learning to cope with a disability. It didn't match the tone of what was before. And Miguel was more interesting before I read his POV....

What can I say about Mexican Heat that hasn't already been said? This book is extremely beautiful and kind of heart breaking. One of the things I'll make special mention of is the writing. In specific, perhaps, the pace of the book is excellent. At first, the book was hot, then the plot became extreme...

What I was looking for: sleazy cops, sinister drug lords, stifling hot Latin lovers, maybe some flirty banter to wrap it up nicely…And what did I get? A sappy 200 pounds FBI agent, a weak crime plot totally inconsistent in tone, a morose blind guy (wonder how that was supposed to play out in book 2)...
