A pesar de la melancolía que persigue a los personajes, la historia es entretenida y dulce. Todo ocurre un poco demasiado rápido y no tiene tanto humor como otras narraciones de Julia Quinn, sin embargo se disfruta.

Once again I loved the novellas by Hawkins and Quinn but didn't care for the other two.

Quinn's story was perfect. The Hawkins' story was exactly what I wanted to see. Her novella showed her true understanding of the series and the character Lady Whistledown. The other two were lacking.

It was cute, sweet, yadda, yadda. I want to give my kudos to Mia Ryan for having her leading man be shot in the head and have subsequent brain damage. If I had known that, I would have read this book ages ago.Do me a favor, anyone reading this review, if you know of books where the lead gets shot ...

I didn't read the first Whistledown (as it was not as the used book store) but apparently it didn't matter as it was a stand alone book.
