Born in Sweden, Mia Thompson's small but steadfast world changed when her 3rd grade teacher told her to give her a call when Mia published her first novel. Diverting from that plan, Mia graduated with a degree in Media/Motion Picture and soon set sail for Los Angeles, where she attended the New York Film Academy; graduating a few notches wiser than she came in. After holding several unfulfilling jobs -- some of them morally sound, some of them debatable -- Mia's first novel STALKING SAPPHIRE was grabbed for publishing in 2012 after which she realized she owed a certain teacher a phone call.

I was really excited to get to know Sapphire and her...
A galley copy was provided free by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.I can’t remember the last time I read such a mean spirited, poorly characterized, stereotype-heavy, racist, and all around hateful book as this one. This book hated every one of its characters. I don’t mean I hated t...
"Stalking Sapphire" is one of those novels that sound right up my alley: a blend of murder mystery/suspense, quirky humor, and romance. I liked the idea of a heroine effectively fighting against serial killers as well - the opening sounded promising enough considering she stands over a guy laughin...
