Michael A. Dorosh, CD, published his first book shortly after leaving his studies at the University of Calgary, where he graduated with degrees in Communications and History. He has been a member of The Calgary Highlanders, a Canadian Forces reserve regiment, since 1987. In addition to his published work on Canadian uniforms, history and traditions (including CANUCK Volume I, DRESSED TO KILL, and the upcoming AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN), he has more recently turned to writing on military history and gaming through his own editorial enterprise, (including the books GALLANT CALGARIANS and YORKTON'S GUNNERS) and has established his own periodical entitled TACTICAL WARGAMER'S JOURNAL, which he publishes through lulu.com. More recent works include SCENARIO DESIGNER'S HANDBOOK and SIGNS OF WAR, both aimed at military hobbyists.In addition to his publishing ventures, Michael also hosts websites at canadiansoldiers.com and tacticalwargamer.com where a variety of information is hosted free of charge and where fellow hobbyists, enthusiasts and information seekers can interact in the online communities.
