Michael Anthony Steele has been in the entertainment industry for over twenty years. He has worked in many capacities of film and television production from props and special effects all the way up to writing and directing.For the past seventeen years, Mr. Steele has written exclusively for family entertainment. For television and video, he wrote for shows including WISHBONE, Barney & Friends, and Boz, The Green Bear Next Door. He has authored more than one hundred books for various characters including: Batman, Green Lantern, Shrek, Spider-Man, Garfield, Speed Racer, and The Penguins of Madagascar.For the past six years, Mr. Steele has visited schools and libraries across the country. His exciting author visits include audiovisual elements that show writing tricks and techniques, explain behind-the-scenes action from his days of working in the movies, and incorporate music and storytelling. The story was engaging, the writing great, and the plot kept me guessing. In my opinion, this is even better than the regular "Wishbone Mysteries" because it had meatier content. I'd look forward to reading some more "Wishbone SUPER Mysteries"...if only I could find some! :)

The token female issue really bugs me in the Madagascar story. Because lemurs are matriarchal, not patriarchal. So King Julian and his two lemur pals? Totally bogus.

My favorite Wishbone book and my very first one. I still have the same copy I had as a kid. I've read so many times and I still love it.
