I've read it before, no real new stuff, but well written. Would be interesting if you're a science student cause it asks about stuff that is assumed in science. It describes itself as Mysteries in Ancient and Early History. Questions accepted timelines. Interesting.
A lot less speculative than many of their other works this is a history of the inquisition from it's inception to the late 90's. The last two chapters are particularly interesting in that there is a lot of talk about Ratzinger - the current pope- and his attitude.
A book that trudges through the first part and then in the second part starts sparking off ideas and issues in my head. The first part is history, tradition, where alchemy comes from, the second is modern. A look at the use and abuse of words and music. Sometimes I wonder if Baigent and Leigh use ...
