Michael E. Kraft is Professor Emeritus, Political Science and Public Affairs, and Herbert Fisk Johnson Professor of Environmental Studies Emeritus at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. He is the author of Environmental Policy and Politics (Pearson, 6th ed., 2015), co-author of Public Policy: Politics, Analysis, and Alternatives (CQ Press, 5th edition, 2015), and co-author of Coming Clean: Information Disclosure and Environmental Performance (MIT Press 2011). In addition, he is co-editor of Environmental Policy (CQ Press, 9th ed., 2016), with Norman J. Vig; Business and Environmental Policy (MIT Press, 2007) and The Oxford Handbook of U.S. Environmental Policy (2013), with Sheldon Kamieniecki; and Toward Sustainable Communities: Transition and Transformations in Environmental Policy (MIT Press, 2nd ed., 2009), with Daniel A. Mazmanian. He has taught courses in environmental policy and politics, public policy analysis, and Congress for over forty years, primarily at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, but also at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Oberlin College, and Vassar College.
