My name is Michael Karner. I live a spartan lifestyle and sell you one drug - emotions. My mission is that you follow your own path and true passion in life. I believe in courage, motivation, discipline, humor, positivity and freedom above all else. The goal of my work is to get you as fired up as humanly possible... to get you as motivated and excited for life as humanly possible... to live the life you have always wanted to lead. To become a fire of happiness... a beacon of vitality. Because if this is the only life, then why not do everything that you want to do? Fans of my books are people who love everyday heroes. They are compassionate people who root for the underdog, but are drawn to the outrageous and have a dry sense of humor. They are of all ages and genders but a surprising number are professional young women and men at a stage in their life to find their own passion. Those who like my books tend to be busy, aspiring people, who love to break out, travel and be on an adventure. They are renegades. They want to be entertained and keep their heart pounding. They live interesting lives but want more in a fast moving world, live a thousand lives in a short time. That's when the reading comes in. They love things that make them forget to eat and go to the toilet. They love to be reminded on what would make their 8-year-old self smile. They like to play with the question: If you had to leave the house everyday, where would you go and what would you do? And when push comes to shove, how would you save the world? They read to relax and go on a journey with a fast paced easy read to see what is there where they can't go, get said to them the things they want to hear, but no person is ever going to say. They don't like fillers and their time being strained. They want what they paid for for every second and learn a thing or two on the way. They like the small bit of research I do. They don't want to be educated but love to learn the one or two unusual facts along the way about world's most interesting places they can pass on in conversations at dinner as if they have been there. They know the sole purpose of my writing is to make them smile or laugh and their heart pound for a few hours on a day when they need it most, and that is what they like about me.
