Michael was born in St. Louis and to the utter astonishment of his K-12 teachers finally grasped that education is a journey not a destination. It took six years in the Marine Corps and his own coming to grips with the meaning of life in Vietnam to bring this into focus. Michael Graduated Cum Laude from Rutgers University, he received his MBA from the New York Institute of Technology an MS degree in Direct Marketing Communications from NYU and a Ph.D. from Union Institute and Technology. He was awarded the DeVry University 2010 PRIDE Award, The Master Teacher Award for Keller Graduate School, 2010. He received The DeVry Innovative and Creative Teacher of the year, 2009, the Direct Marketing Association of NYC Silver Apple Award in 2003; Rutgers-Newark Hall of Fame, 1989; a 1972 Rotary International Fellowship, and he is a member of MENSA.Michael has been published in two peer review journals, dozens of magazines, newsletters, web sites, blogs, and a half dozen white papers, including one that was circulated to all elected members of congress and the major media outlets, he has written or co-authored 12 books, and two one-act plays which were both performed in a local theater in St. Louis, Mo. He has been interviewed on radio, TV and by bloggers and is a frequent presenter at marketing and business conferences, seminars and workshops across the US.
