Michael Macrone, currently the Chief Technology Officer at PublishersMarketplace.com, has authored nine books on language, literature, and ideas. His first book, Brush Up Your Shakespeare!, published in two editions, has sold more than 100,000 copies. He has bachelor’s degrees from Brown University in Mathematics and Semiotics, and a Ph.D. in English from the University of California, Berkeley. He has taught Web Design at the California College of the Arts, and his work as an interactive designer has earned numerous awards. His first album, Icicles and Sand, will be released by Fiesta Red Records on April 19, 2016.
