Michael McGee is an award-winning Northern California writer who's been lucky enough to travel the world to work with elephants in the jungles of Thailand, live with the Bedouin in the deserts of Arabia, and dance with geishas in Kyoto. His work has appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle, San Jose Mercury News, and various other books, magazines, and newspapers. He is also the creator and author of two audio podcasts: "Theater of the Midnight Sun" and "The Great Big Bungalow," many episodes from which have appeared on radio stations in both the U.S. and Canada. In addition, he is co-winner of the Lowell Thomas Travel Book of the Year Award and several other writing awards.
