Michelle Holland became passionately interested in creation science upon meeting Dr. G. Thomas Sharp when he came to her church in Memphis, Tennessee while she was still in high school. Though she had attended Christian school and church her entire life, no one had ever demonstrated the foundational importance of a literal interpretation of Genesis 1 to the whole of the Christian faith. Because of Dr. Sharp’s influence and God’s leading, Michelle went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Vanderbilt University and her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Memphis. After moving to Texas, she spent ten years teaching high school science at a Christian school in Carrollton. During that time, God re-aligned her with Dr. Sharp as the school entered a partnership with Creation Truth Foundation to create the Truth in Science (TIS) curriculum. Michelle is now the Principal of an open-enrollment charter school and continues to work toward the completion of her Doctor of Education in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University which she expects to receive in 2012.
