Something is wrong with Annie, Cynthia's best friend, ever since the new librarian has come to school. Miss Merriweather is the librarian and is very particular about rules in the library. When a lion comes to the library one day, no one is sure what to do. There aren't any rules about lions in the library. The lion fits in very well at the library and when something terrible happens, the lion quick...
Overall Rating: 3.5 out of 5 The Princess of Trelian is the sequel to The Dragon of Trelian, which I read a while ago. It continues to follow Princess Meg and Calen, emphasizing Meg’s struggle to balance her new connection with her dragon, Jakl, and her responsibilities as the heir of Trelian. Cal...
I dove headlong into this book with the fervent wish that it would live up to expectations after buying it from Booksale without an inkling as to how good (or bad) it might be. Fortunately, it didn't disappoint. Dragons, castles, magic, headstrong princesses and reserved mage-in-trainings: it all sc...
Paranormal romance is way better when it follows a Buffy outline with clever teens fighting evil and still maintaining their grades. I like it funny. I liked it and am very looking forward to the sequel, "The Princess of Trelian." The characters were well done. They were not cookie-cutter characters. They had their own flaws, fears, problems, and duties. I liked how Calen was not the typical fearless male protagonist. Meg seemed to have a little ...
