As I grudgingly click the "Want to Read" button, I can't help but wonder if I'm a masochist. The heroine in this series is incredibly brave and warm-hearted, but she's also stupid. I mean super fucking stupid. She offends everyone that could take offense and kill her. She refuses to learn damn near ...

Such a difficult book to review. Kaylin was a very frustrating heroine and so much of this world is confusing and poorly explained.I enjoyed it quite a bit, but I know I have a weak grasp of what I just read.

If I thought Kaylin was frustrating in the first book, she was doubly so in this one. For such a curious person, she is oddly content to stay dumb and clueless.I spent way too much of this book being upset with her behavior to understand how I still enjoyed it. This makes no sense to me at all.

Series: Chronicles of Elantra #1 Publisher: Luna Books (2007) Genre(s): Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Romance Wow. The writing on this was atrocious. I literally did not understand half the book because it made no sense with its convoluted writing and half-explained ideas. I felt like I had to be inside...

This is probably the most emotionally satisfying Elantra book I've read so far. Don't start reading it at 1am.

Star Rating: 5 Stars, Buy it Self Purchase for Kindle, Re-read review If you haven't read this series, you really have no idea of what you are missing. The writing style is so unique and superb and adds so much to the series. I must admit though sometimes the writing can be hard to follow. Also,...

I tried desperately to drag reading Cast In Flame out but alas, Ms Sagara draws me in every time. What I liked: I can't believe this is book 10 in the series. Usually by now, I would have become bored or wishy washy about a series. Not with this author writing this series!! I really like that I do...

3.5 stars. For the most part I enjoyed reading Cast in Shadow. The reason it doesn't quite get 4 stars from me is because at times I felt like not enough was explained and that led to a bit of confusion a few times. I think way too much information is withheld from the reader and the main character....
