Mick Winter is an academic researcher and author of books on the Napa Valley, sustainable living, the use of QR Codes, and, most recently, "Cuba for the Misinformed: Facts from the Forbidden Island."He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Arts (Distinction) from the University of Brighton in the UK. He is a contributing author to textbooks from leading academic publishers in Germany and the UK.Winter lives in California's Napa Valley with his wife Kathryn, their cats Sophie and Truffle, and their not-far-away daughter Joanna.
