Desperately sad. It's like the inverse of Season of the Witch.
Very interesting read. The book was much different in tone than I was expecting (I have not seen the movie but knew the bare bones of the plot from various clips of the film I had seen on TV). The characters were very relatable, the various settings were very well done, and I felt it was very well...
At first, the story doesn't really grab me (mind you, I haven't seen the movie). But moving towards the end, it gets really moving - and by the time i close the book, i have to take a deep breath to let go of the pain in my chest. it is a beautiful story
