He is settled now for much of the year on the island of West Mersea in Essex, UK, where he writes novels, plays and short stories many set in Victorian London.A series of Sherlock Holmes pastiches set in 1887, the year of Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee feature schoolboy Winston Churchill as the cuckoo in the nest at 221B bBaker Street.A novel and two collections of traditional Sherlock Holmes themed short stories are also on Kindle and are coming out in new paperback editions in 2015.His coming-of-age novel set in London in 1963 - Hamlet and Me - is available on Kindle and ill be soon in paperback, together with a novel set in Rome in 575 AD will be published in 2015.He is currently working on a third collection of Sherlock Holmes stories and a novel in which Holmes and Watson are on the trail of the two fiends who stalked London in 1888, Jack the Ripper and the Thames Torso murderer.
