So, yeah, what happens with Fortress Maximus is just beautiful that I'd love this whole mini-series just for that. I'll most likely read it, although not immediately. I also have some beautiful variants from this series so that's fun!
This just gets better. What happens, why it happens, it's all a lot of fun. I"d have preferred a less animated style, but I understand why they used it. I thought the stories would continue to be not as much fun, but it all leads up to this, and it's all fun by the end.
It's clever enough to keep me engaged, even if I feel it lets down both of these fandoms that I love a little. Just a tad. Still, I'm amused by Fort Tiberius, and I own all the next two issues - up to the end of the series - so I'll certainly keep on, y'know, trucking until then. It's funny b...
It's cute. It's... not what I'd hope from from this crossover. Still bothered by the Star Trek animated illustrations, but a Spock/Prime mind meld is kinda delicious. It's also nice to have more of the continuity I remembered in IDW's TF universe, even if this smacks of AU.
I basically bought this to heal my heart because the TF universe has been imploded. But at least you'll have this, I told myself, but I'm not sure it's worth it. Oh, I'm invested, and I'll finish up this five issue mini-series, but I'm not sure that it was worth it. It's animated in the ST anim...
The Boldly comic series picks up after the latest Star Trek (Kelvin) movie. In these issues, the crew is still splintered with Kirk, Sulu, and McCoy on a ship, Scotty working on the new Enterprise, and Spock and Uhura on New Vulcan. I'm not sure where Chekhov is. The strongest issues are 11 and ...
And how one society treats the Federation - and what one little Kevin can do to help his friends. (His name is Kevin, I'm blanking on the species name right now.) Going to watch Jeopardy and knit and read some more, so y'all get the laziest review ever!
He's trying to help rebuild, and she's invited to teach a class on human culture. More is going on: Sarek keeps hinting that Spock should marry Nyota, and Spock's called to help discover more about an isotope they've discovered post-colonization. Many hope the isotope will help keep them self-...
It all wraps up nicely, and I suspected incorrectly. Oh, well, I know I suck at guessing with crimes/murders/in mysteries, so I'm okay with that fact. Fun, and just as charming and heartwarming as the original episode, although slightly different.
It's a spin on that episode, although it doesn't wrap up in this one issue; this will be at least a two parter, in fact. It's close enough and cleverly different enough to make me feel both nostalgia reading this, and also to entertain me thoroughly. The Andorian cadet's father is the ambassa...
