2nd book in the Swain series, I really wanted to love this but I got bored and skipped through a lot. I was young and inattentive, and you might like it better than I did.

A short read, but a great one. You'd definitely have to read the first book in the series to understand this one, but it's worth it.
I read about 70 pages and couldn't get into it. The characters felt really heavy handed to me, all very one dimensional. I'm a fan of scifi but for some reason the technology kept distracting me.
