Educated as a historian, Mindy Quigley has worked in project roles with university research centers in the US, Europe, Hong Kong and China. Her work as the coordinator of a pastoral services program at the Duke University Medical Center provided the inspiration for her Reverend Lindsay Harding mystery series.She published a short story in the 2012 Blasted Heath crime fiction collection, Worth the Wait, and her short story "The Best Dish" was the winner of the 2013 Bloody Scotland Short Story Competition. In 2013, her short fiction was also selected for a juried reading by the New River Valley Voices. In 2011, she co-authored an academic article with the researcher who created Dolly the Sheep. Most recently, she was project manager of the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic, a research clinic founded by the author J.K. Rowling.She currently lives in Blacksburg, Virginia, USA, and is working on the next Lindsay Harding novel (The Burnt Island Burial Ground, to be published Summer 2015) and a new mystery novel set in America during the antebellum period.
