Miriam Zolin was born in Geelong, Victoria in Australia in 1964. She has been writing since she first discovered the written word. Her published works include Tristessa & Lucido (UQP 2003) and a number of essays, reviews and short stories (Griffith Review, Sleepers Almanac, Australian Book Review, AustralianJazz.net, Cordite Poetry Review, Rochford Street Review)As an editor she has been responsible for curating extempore journals 1-5 and EXT2012 - collections of writing inspired by jazz and improvised music. Miriam lives in Melbourne and writes for a living.
