L. A. Meyer continues to spin one of the best stories I have ever read. His characters are strong, especially with the secondary characters. The story itself is a weave of mystery, romance, mishaps and action.
I'm still enjoying this series as light reading, though I'm ready for a little more character development. Jacky takes herself on down the Ohio and Mississippi gathering friends and adventures along the way, one step ahead of her star-crossed lover, as usual. Meyer entertainingly explores the tall...
