Mitzi Perdue, wife of the late Frank Perdue, is a former rice grower. When she and Frank met, they decided that chicken and rice go well together! Mitzi has also been a syndicated columnist, and television and radio host, and is a frequent speaker, encouraging people (particularly young people) to be all they can be.While her husband was growing his company from a father-son operation to a worldwide business with almost 20,000 employees and sales in more than 100 countries, Mitzi either saw or heard about much of the experience, learning about it either directly from her husband, or from talking with the more than 130 people she interviewed.
