My teacher read this to my primary class many moons ago. I remember loving the story at the time, and the tricky old Kelpie in particular. I'm not even sure if this is still in print, it's a book I'd love to revisit and see if it still stands up. It's definitely one to look out for if you're a fan...
Outstanding historical fiction. Thoroughly enjoyed.
I remember this book! Read it in Elementary and fell in love with it lol. But I honestly think I'd cringe at it now.
