For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleAn adorably dark book about a zombie ballerina with stage fright. This is a cute story told in pleasant rhymes. I really enjoyed the beautiful and entertaining illustrations. Great for kids who like their books a little on the darker side. Not gory or ...

I will never tire of these beautiful, clever books. Fortunately, there are many, many birds. Now I've amused myself with the idea of a parody book "Flora and the Birds" by Alfred Hitchcock. Which leads to the recognition that no one names their child Alfred anymore, and that's how I know the world i...

Bright, colorful book of a mystery at the circus. Where are the bangles and sparklies going? A magnifying glass is attached so you can follow the clues and solve the mystery. Fun and wonderful!

I’m wishing I had a whole passel of young’uns to buy copies of this for, but I'll have to settle for one copy for one particular trio, dadburnit! Rodeo Red is without a doubt one of the most charming and downright cute picture books I have read recently (and having recently become a great-aunt for ...

The little flaps are a fun touch, but the book would still be great without them. I am at best a superficially informed art fan, but the lines here, the curves, the way a small child and a flamingo are shown moving together, this is stuff to make me swoon. I would never have guessed that it was poss...

Amazing story telling in the wordless picture book. This one is even better that FLORA AND THE FLAMINGO. Librarians - don't let the flaps in the book stop you from putting this in your collection. This is a story your students need to enjoy. For older students, the amazing illustrations will give th...
