I write books that entail elements of fantasy or science fiction, often include historical settings, and have been described as lyrical, powerful, and sensual. My first book, Girl Under Glass, was a 2012 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Semi-finalist.My work includes sensual love scenes, but not erotica. While you won't find any "dangly bits", you will find passion. I also am unafraid of violence. That being said, I'm a firm believer in the right amount at the right time and trusting you, the reader, to fill in the gaps with your own imagination.I hold an English literature degree from UCLA, which was gathering dust until 2009 when I began work on my first historical fantasy novel. I live in Seattle with my husband and daughter and our two rock 'em sock 'em catbots.

For a world so focused on living, we certainly have a strange fascination with death. But not just your run-of-the-mill dying... No, we have to picture the world exploding around us, often with monsters chasing us down at the end of days. I view it as a form of reverse psychology: If we can imagine ...

I received this book via NetGalley to give an honest review. I have been hearing about this book and how awesome it is. So I knew that I had to request it. I was impressed with how each chapter is its own story and it all comes together nicely. There is a virus that has been released into the pub...
