This eighteenth installment of the Needlecraft Mystery series starts out with a bang! No, really. It starts with a raging storm, and a tree falling on someone’s home. This one isn't as weak as the last one, but it was very dull, with no adventure to it - at least not until everyone gets bashed with a rake at the end. What a non-event. Lots of filler of tedious detail, and the book jacket is wildly inaccurate - no scandalous use of non-organic or hazardous mate...

Very enjoyable mystery. Predictable and ordinary, but enjoyable. I didn't guess whodunnit correctly, which is always nice.
