If you like noir, this is good noir.It's cop-y and medical-ly with "cool" writing and some really great lines that I had to re-read just because I enjoyed them so much.Not splatterpunk but you don't get any fade-to-black on the gore.
When any book boasts that it is written in the Hitchcock tradition, it automatically causes me to put some large demands on the story, even before I open the book.
