At first, it wasn't bad. Then at page 100, it got worse. And then at 230 it was really bad. And by the end, it was eye-bleeding, mind-numbingly bad. It just became a huge, garbled mess of events, like the author couldn't decide what should be the true climax of the book. So why not just try it all? ...
I still really don't know what to think about this book. It's so odd. If it was a painting I'd describe it as mannerist.
