Terrible book. Full of melodrama and weird, soapy plot twists and more than one moment where I said, out loud, "oh COME on!" The whole drug thing? Really? Also: it's a prequel, not a sequel, which doesn't affect the review except that I'm feeling pissy anyway. Gah.
