Raven Birchfield has dug up an ancient nursery rhyme book as well as a crystal in the backyard of her new home. After finally getting rid of Mary, Mary (Quite Contrary) who haunted Raven's head and tried to take control of her life, she now has another problem to deal with and it concerns her best friend, Candy.
After researching the ancient nursery rhymes, Raven discovers some horrible hidden meanings behind them. And now, Little Miss Muffet is starting to emerge, using Raven's friend, Candy to do her dirty work. Not to mention, the girl isn't afraid of spiders, but actually loves them instead.
Will the evil Muffet use an innocent girl's own anger toward an abusive stepfather to do her bidding, or will a twist of fate keep Candy trapped in a realm where nursery rhymes aren't for children after all?
