Murder List -- Julie Garwood Book 4 of Buchanan-Renard-McKenna series The narration and the story telling always feel flighty and haphazard whenever I read one of Julie Garwood's Buchanan-Renard installments (recently known as the Buchanan-Renard-McKenna series). I never get a solid feel for who's...

not bad romantic mystery. Didn't realize it was part of her "Buchanan" family, but this one focused on Alec, so didn't have to worry about reading it out of order.

Quite a good romantic suspense novel. I think it lost its way for a while but Julie Garwood managed to get things back on track and it ended well.

The series continues with another compelling story with this fourth book. There is a perfect pitch between the romantic and suspense elements and it moves quickly. I love the Buchanan family and though her contemporaries can't hold a candle to her historicals, I still like r...

I had a hard time getting into this one. I didn't really get the attraction between Alec and Regan. I thought her epilogue could have been longer and give in more of an idea of time frame. I'm hoping the next one is better.

This book was a free download for my Kindle. I hadn't ever read anything by Julie Garwood before, so I thought I'd check it out. I really enjoyed it. It had a nice balance of mystery / suspense / romance. I'll definitely be checking out some of her other books.
